Our roof was installed right before the 4th of July and we have been noticing many differences in the house. The temperature indoors stays at a more even level, the appearance on the outside is beautiful and it has enhanced our property. His explanation about the roof, installation and guarantee was top notch. He helped me realize that there was more to a quality roof than just getting new asphalt shingles.

A short time later the installation occurred. I can't believe how fast the installers made it happen. Everything was as Duncan said it would be. The installers even refit part of the plywood underlayment they found that was short of becoming a leak.

We wish to tell you how pleased we are with our new roof. The ocean-blue color is beautiful and several neighbors have noticed the roof and commented positively on its appearance. Minor issues that arose both before and during the installation were promptly resolved to our satisfaction. Throughout the process, customer service representatives were friendly and helpful, answered our questions and redirected calls when appropriate. We were never put on hold or shunted to voicemail, as was the case with some other companies.

We negotiated our contract with James Broughham, a marketing representative for the company. Mr. Brougham provided before and after photographs and testimonial letters from satisfied Advanced Metal Roofing customers. We talked by phone with a recent customer in the Concord, NC, area. His comments about his new roof were very positive. The information and Mr. Brougham’s sincerity, obvious pleasure in his work and pride in the product were instrumental in our decision to have Advanced Metal Roofing do our new roof.

George, the pre-job inspector, was helpful, thorough and courteous. As part of the roofing job, we wanted the crew to remove an old chimbney, a vent from an old water heater and an attic roof fan. George explained how these tasks and replacement of some rotted fascia boards would be handled, when to expect delivery of materials and when the work would begin. Juan and his installation crew were courteous, worked quickly and efficiently and did an excellent job of yard clean-up. We have a small home and a simple roof design so the whole job was completed in half a day.

The process of having a new roof put on my house has been an informative experience. The salesman arrived after a scheduled phone call, we talked and he explained and answered all my questions. The inspector called and then came and did his job, again answered all my questions and concerns. He informed me about when the roof supplies would be here and the wait and why. The roof supplies arrived when expected and then it was N.C. weather that stepped in for a few days. After Ida left, another phone call was receive and the men arrived at a reasonable hour. 7 hours later my roof was on, the yard cleaned of all surplus and trivial things picks up and removed. The roof looks great and the outside noise is a bit quieter. In fact, you don’t realize it’s raining unless you happen to look out the window. I’m pleased and happy to be the owner of a new roofed house that’s eco-friendly and very good looking. Thanks for doing all the things stated and in a reasonable time schedule!

It was decision time for me. I knew I needed to replace my roof on my home. I had replaced the roof twice before with asphalt shingles. I was happy with them. My wife and I had discussed replacing our roof for some time looking at the various options; shingle, metal and vinyl,  so when we saw your information booth at the NC Seafood Festival in Morehead City we decided to sign up for addition information. Your representative who came our to our house was very knowledgeable regarding the product and spent several hours with the two of us answering all of the questions which we had regarding metal roofing, explaining the differences between the new product and the old farmhouse style metal roofing.

Once we decided to go with the metal roofing the process was a breeze; from financing to delivery and final installation. Advanced Metal Roofing arranged financing through a reputable lender at very good rates, the roofing supplies were delivered on schedule within two weeks and the crew removed an old skylight and installed the new roof in less than a day.

I am so happy to have my new roof. They did an outstanding job installing it and they were true professionals. They showed up and told me if I had any questions just to ask them. Then they started checking the metal roof to make sure all was good. Then one man got on the roof and started the prep for the roofing install. The worked as a team and in to time they had the back half done. You can tell these workers have pride in their work. They cleaned up their mess and hauled off the scraps. They did not finish the first day due to it getting dark and they apologized for not being done. They said they would return in the morning and, sure enough, they were back at 7 a.m. and done by 9:30 a.m. They had me to inspect the roof and I could not find anything wrong so I signed the final paperwork and they left.

That afternoon, your inspector, Keith, came by an only found one missing screw. He put it in and I thanked him. We were both happy with the roof. My roof got a good work out with the noreaster we have had this week!

Less than a month ago I decided it was time for a new roof. In that period of time I met with Doug, decided on a metal roof, chose a color and had it installed and inspected. Wow! What a painless and worry free experience!

Doug took the time to explain the advantages of Advanced Metal Roofing. I was impressed with the Lifetime Warrantee, the hurricane resistance and energy savings. He explained the procedure, financing options and answered any questions I had. It was a very satisfying sales experience.

Approximately two weeks later I received a call saying that the materials would be delivered. It was placed in the area I had designated.

Three days later I received a call saying that they would begin installation the following day. When I arrived home from work that afternoon the front of the roof was almost complete! Two days later the job was done! Each day the site was left neat and clean. The installers were polite and busy. A neighbor commented "Boy, those guys really hustled!"

The weekend after the installation I was out working in my yard and several neighbors commented on how nice the new roof looked.

The two inspections are now complete and I am completely satisfied.

I had gotten many different estimates to replace my roof, including a shingle estimate and estimates from Progressive Metal Roofing and Atlantic Metal Roofing but we couldn’t agree on a price. So my mother referred your company, having had you install her roof years ago. I arranged an appointment for 9/9/09.

Your sales representative, David Medlin, came to my home and took measurements and explained the various advantages of your product and the improvements that had occurred in the roof since my mother’s roof was installed like a new, superior material and edge coating, a patented design, 42% energy savings pledge and a lifetime warranty. I was impressed with David’s presentation and we came to an agreement on the price and signed a contract. On Saturday, September 19th, I got a call from the crew saying they were coming to install the roof. They began that Saturday morning and finished by Saturday night. The crew were very professional and did a great job of keeping the surrounding area clean. I was impressed that they not only worked on a Saturday but managed to finish the job on the same day they began, something unheard of in this city.

A few days passed and the inspector came for the final inspection which was passed with no problems. You’re looking at one satisfied customer and all I have to say is that people should kick all the other metal roofing companies to the curb! A big thank you to everyone involved.

Anytime that we were out traveling around, we were always looking at the new metal roofs that were being installed. Knowing that our 17-year old asphalt roof might not be able to withstand the next hurricane, we were definitely interested when your canvasser rang our doorbell. We made and appointment for the first available salesman to tell us about your metal roof.

Steven Girvin came out and spent nearly 5 hours with us as he explained the benefits of the metal Man roofing system. He’s quite a talker and loves what he sells. We signed the loan contract that day and expected delivery in 2 to 3 weeks. We were notified of the loan approval on 10/6.09 and the materials were delivered on 10/16/09. The crew showed up at 8:15 a.m on the 23rd and had the roof installed by 7 p.m. and then they returned the next day to put some caulking on the some of the flashing. We then did the walk-around and could not find any problems with the installation or any scrap materials or trash left on the ground. The crew worked very well together and the team leader, Juan was very courteous in answering any questions.

Besides having a very good looking roof, we are excited about the added benefits of the tax credit, the energy savings and the possible reduction in insurance costs.

We were looking for a metal roof to go on our horne and so I went online on a Sunday afternoon. Before two hours went by someone from Advanced Metal Roofing had called me and set up an appointment for a salesman to come and talk with us. Our first contact with Advanced Metal Roofing was the salesperson. This person arrived at our house and we had a nice chat, I felt comfortable with him. My wife and I decided to proceed forward.

I first learned of Advanced Metal Roofing when I saw your green sign in one of my neighbor's yards. A few days later, they had a beautiful new red metal roof. It looked really good and I told my husband, "when we get a new roof, we're getting a metal one."

Well, a few months later our roof started leaking. I called AMR and met with Malcolm the sales person. We were impressed by the quality of the product and the cool colors offered. Once the materials were ready, Omar and his team started their work. They worked efficiently and were done in 2 days! There was no interruption to our daily routine, which was great since we have a new baby. We are so happy with our new roof. All of our friends tell us how great it looks. Advanced Metal Roofing provided just what I needed. I saw several roofs this company had placed on houses and was especially impressed with the trim work and with the quality of work done. My roofing project took place in March 2008. I chose the Diamond White color because it matched well with my house trim. My primary objective was to deflect solar radiated heat away from my roof. In contrast, dark colored asphalt shingles actually absorb much heat. As summer fast approaches, it is obvious to me that the attic vent fan has not come on once yet. What is not obvious to me is when it rains. I just do not hear the sounds of rain coming down on my house like before. That is truly amazing to me.

Mark was the "on-site" supervisor during the assembly stage of the project. I say "assembly" because all the cutting and shaping of the metal panels were done off-site prior to delivery. The materials were "custom-fit" to my house's unique roofline. A week before assembly, George had come by to take measurements and sketches of my roof. My roof panels were assembled a few days after the projected assembly date. Local wind-storms during the original date made assembly unsafe at that time. Mark and his crew came out the very day the winds calmed; on a Sunday at my request! My roofline is a simple two-tier gable and the crew finished in just one-half day. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away at project's end. Discarded pieces were gathered and picked up throughout the assembly process.

The outcome is that I am a satisfied customer. Passer-bys in the neighborhood have remarked to me repeatedly how beautiful the roof looks now. It is unique in an asphalt-shingle community. The neighborhood seems to have dubbed me an innovator with a flair for style. I just wanted to keep the heat and the rain off my house. I do not regard myself as an innovator though. I have observed that every commercial and public building constructed these days have a metal roof on it. There are reasons for that which I now benefit from.

Although I consider my roofing project a success, experience has taught me things that a new customer may want to consider. PRIOR PLANNING IS KEY! Assess your house sometime before the sales presentation. If there is anything out of the ordinary not obvious to the casual eye, make note of it. Insist that your concerns are addressed to George. My house has a special brand of siding that is rigid; unlike most vinyl siding that is flexible. Pointing out and asking questions about those significant details early on would have helped in the planning stages. I ran Tim, the regional construction supervisor for my area through hoops. I did not recognize and stress the importance of my facade. My hat goes off to Tim for being there when I had issues to address. He answered the phone and returned my calls. That is appreciated as good ole' fashion customer service. That went a long ways with me. Communication is everything! His follow-up inspections insured my satisfaction. In my eyes, Matt (Advanced Metal Roofing President) and Tim bear the mark of professionalism in the world of contracting. They set an example to emulate and a tone to follow in this company. That is why they are in leadership positions and that is why I write this testimonial. If a person would like to ask questions of a customer who has "been there and done that" , I would have no problem coordinating a home showing at a time convenient to us both.

My daughter moved to Maryland about a year ago. On my first trip to visit, I started noticing the red metal roofs that were on our scenic route. I fell in love with them instantly. I am writing to inform you of my opinion upon the completion of my new roof. I am happy to say that I am completely satisfied with it as well as the entire process.

At all times, and on all levels, I felt like I was truly dealing with professionals. Everyone was polite, without complaint, and worked hard to provide me with the product promised to me. This included the individual who initially sold me on the product all the way down to the individuals who so skillfully and quickly installed my new roof. On November 14, we had Chris Dehart came and gave us an estimate on a new roof. Chris had arrived on time as was set up. We then decided to go with the metal roof as we had estimates all week on a shingle roof. Chris had told us it would probably be 4 to 5 weeks for the installation. With in a two weeks period Jim had called and said that the materials would be delivered and they would start the next day. Unfortunately it was so windy they couldn’t start until Saturday and promised it would be done by Monday if not Sunday. Well we had to go out of town that Sunday and they weren’t finish but I was convinced that they would be here on Monday to finish the job, which they did. Upon arriving back home late Wednesday night our roof was done but to dark to see anything so I got up first thing in the morning to find a new roof and that everything was cleaned up as they had said it would be. The installers were great to work for the little amount of time that we were there.

We just had those heavy rains and we couldn’t hear a thing, I had asked Chris about that and he said if you want to rain open your windows and he was right about that. We also noticed that our heat is not coming on, as much as it use to so hopefully we will save money also.

This was the best investment we had ever done. Living on the coast there was always the fear of how many shingles we would lose now there is no more worry about that. We would defiantly recommend this on any house if you have to put a new roof on. We have had a lot of people looking at the new roof and they can’t believe how good it looks and maintenance free.

November 16, 2007: Glen arrived on time for our scheduled appointment, to provide us with an estimate for an Advanced Metal Roof (AMR) System installation. We had been asked to allow at least an hour and that both of us be present for the appointment. David had called the evening of the fifteenth to confirm our appointment for the next day. We found Glen to be very personable and professional during his presentation. Our $2000.00 television commercial call in discount was annotated in his notes and honored. He had samples of the materials to be used, answered all of our questions, if he didn’t know the answer he made phone calls and got one. We felt everything was well explained, we had a good understanding of the how the Advanced Metal Roofing Company operated, had grown over the years, was a well respected home improvement business, and the advantages of the Advanced Metal Roofing System. In addition, we had a good idea of what to expect going forward in the installation process.

November 27, 2007: I received a call from Rachael advising financing had been arranged. George was scheduled to come out the next day to take final roofing measurements and I signed the loan documents.

November 28, 2007: Rachael called to advise George was running a little late and asked if it was a problem. George arrived at the new agreed on time, I signed the loan contract, we discussed a concern I had about my range vent, and he answered a few other questions I had. I wasn’t given any different answers from what I had gotten from Glen.

November 30, 2007: Jim called to advise my materials would be delivered December 4th and the installers should be here a day or two later to start the installation.

December 4, 2007: Materials were delivered and placed in the yard, where previously discussed with me. An advanced Metal Roofing employee stopped by and picked up some materials for another, close by, installation that had been included with on our shipment. He made sure he knocked on our door identified himself as well as why and what he was doing.

December 5, 2007: 9:30 AM an installation crew arrived at the house, went over the roof drawing and applicable notes with me, and accomplished the entire installation and site cleanup by 3:15 PM. We conducted a walk around of the house to ensure I was satisfied with the installation and the cleanup. I signed the certificate of completion; was thanked for the business and they left. My wife and I couldn’t believe how quickly and professionally the installation had been done.

December 7, 2007: The new roof looks great; we are now ready for the much needed rain here in the Leland area. No more cringing when the weatherman forecasts a chance of rain on the evening news. George put an AMR sign in our yard on the November 28th, before he left. The neighbors were telling us can’t wait to see that new roof, especially after seeing the television commercials. One neighbor’s house is only a few years old, has no leaks, but he wants an AMR roof because he loves the appearance.

December 8, 2007: I discovered, while looking at my new handy dandy AMR roof, I had missed a spot on my back roof gutter that was a little bent. It was where the installation team had put their ladder for roof access. Upon further investigation I found a few of the gutter wedges had popped out and one was bent. I was able to correct the problem in five minutes once I got my ladder. I’m confident that if I had noticed the issue before the AMR crew left or had called in it would have been taken care of promptly without any questions. Ultimately it was my fault as I should have noticed it during the walk around prior to the crew leaving my home. Our experience in dealing with employees of the AMR Company has been one of complete professionalism by all encountered, from the beginning to present date. We voice our appreciation to the owners of AMR Company for bringing toget her such a great team of people to serve our needs. We would encourage anyone considering a new roof to give the team at AMR an opportunity to provide you with and outstanding product and first class service.

Advanced Metal Roofs put a terracotta red roof on my double wide.  This roof has made my house look like a million dollars. I hear I am the talk of the neighborhood. Everyone loves it. I have already noticed how much cooler and how much less my air conditioner runs throughout the day. When it rains, the sound is so beautiful. I ordered my roof and less than a week later the materials were delivered. A very short few days later the workmen came to put the roof on, and they completed the job in two days in 100 degree heat. Nothing seemed to stop them.

After the job was finished , they cleaned up all the leftover materials and hauled them away. I am completely satisfied with my roof and highly recommend that everyone get rid of those old tar shingles and upgrade to a metal roof. You will be glad you did.

IT WAS COMPLETED ON MONDAY APRIL 2ND BY TOM LEE, WALTER MARSHALL, JACKIE CUMMINGS AND BRAD JURNIGAN. ALL THESE GENTLEMEN WERE VERY POLITE AND WELL MANNERED.

ON APRIL 3RD MY HUSBAND HAD SOME QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS WITH THE PROJECT AS YOU KNOW, NOT HAVING ANY KNOWLEDGE OF METAL ROOFING.
